Ronald McDonald House

Alpha Delta Pi’s international philanthropy is the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), which provides housing for families with ill children receiving treatment away from home. Throughout the year, we give back to the Ronald McDonald House in Savannah, GA by visiting multiple times a month. We have sisters volunteer to make meals for the families who are staying there.  Sisters also have the opportunity to save their pop tabs to donate to the Ronald McDonald House.

There are multiple philanthropy events that we put on and have put on in the past to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House and support our local community.

RMHC Dinners

The Savannah Ronald McDonald House opened its doors in July of 1987. Currently, they have 13 guest rooms, with one room dedicated to our chapter for all that we have contributed. The facility has large living and dining spaces, a full service double kitchen, laundry facilities, movie room, play room, and computer/internet access. Throughout the year, sisters volunteer to visit the Savannah Ronald McDonald House to cook meals and bring needed supplies to the families living there. While there, we are able to interact with the families on a personal level and uplift them through our unique sisterhood.

Princes, Princesses, and Pis

Epsilon Pi hosts an annual philanthropy event called “Princes, Princesses, and Pis,” benefiting the Ronald McDonald House Charities. Our sisters dress up as princesses, sell tickets to the event, and assist during the day to make sure everything runs smoothy! This is one of our chapters’ favorite events of the year; it is so much fun!
